Ingredients

  • 2 lbs Southern-style frozen hash browns
  • 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup frozen peas and carrots
  • 2 cups sour cream
  • 1/2 cup canned corn, drained
  • 1 can cream of chicken soup
  • 3 cups shredded chicken
  • 1/3 cup milk
  • 2 cups bread crumbs
  • Salt and pepper to taste

How to Make Chicken and Hash Brown Casserole

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Spread the hash browns evenly in the bottom of a 9×13-inch baking dish.
  3. In a large bowl, combine the shredded chicken, sour cream, cheddar cheese, peas and carrots, corn, cream of chicken soup, milk, salt, and pepper. Mix well until all ingredients are combined.
  4. Layer the chicken mixture on top of the hash browns in the baking dish.
